photography and I go waaay back

I was born and raised in Raleigh, North Carolina, and I discovered photography when I was around eight years old. I got my first DSLR for my sixteenth birthday and started doing photoshoots with my friends.

I came to Colorado for the first time on a photography retreat, and I fell in love with the mountains and the aspens. A year later, I moved here with my partner, Jack, and our dog, Peanut, and we're so happy to call Denver home.

These are a few of my favorite things. On Saturday nights, you'll find me snuggled up with a good book or show rather than going out for drinks.

I loooove fall weather, sunsets, mountain hikes, and trying new things. I was a psych major and I work in childcare outside of photography, so my love for people runs deep. I'm solidly an introvert, but also a certified yapper when I meet people I vibe with.

documenting life's most meaningful moments

What I get to do is so special - connecting deeply with people, even with a camera between us.

I try to get to know your story so I can capture you as you truly are. I understand that each client is unique and needs something different from me. Photography is not one-size-fits-all, it's deeply personal and individual, which is what makes it so enjoyable for me.

Great experience! I used her for my college graduation pictures and don’t regret it! She was great at helping me pose to get the best photos. Will definitely book again in the future!

FAQ

Are you willing to travel?

Yes! I'm based in Denver, Colorado, but I'd love to come to wherever your adventure takes you! Packages have included travel up to a certain distance, but we can always add more if needed.

Do I have to pay extra to download the photos?

Nope! I follow the "free photos" pricing model - the session fee includes the digital files for all the photos I edit. If we get extra good ones, they're yours! The only exception to this is mini sessions, where there is a set number of photos included and more are available for purchase.

How long does it take to receive our photos back?

You can expect your gallery within 2 weeks for sessions or 4 weeks for weddings. I typically send a sneak peek of a few photos within 48 hours of your session, because I just can't resist ;)

Can I order prints or cards from you?

Yes! Once your gallery is delivered, you can order directly through the "Print store" button right on your pixieset gallery page!
