Ryan's Graduation Photos

I was so excited to do a graduation shoot with Ryan at Meredith! Even though it’s right down the street from me, I had never really explored Meredith’s campus. We had a great time walking around to different meaningful spots and getting beautiful photos for Ryan and her family to keep!

Personal Touches for your Graduation Shoot

I loved how Ryan had her Nigerian and UK flag patches on her graduation gown. Anything that makes your graduation attire a bit more personal, like patches, pins, cords, sashes, or cap decorations, are welcomed in our sessions! They add such a cute personal touch to commemorate and celebrate you and your accomplishments, which is what our grad shoot is all about!

Golden Hour at Meredith College

Meredith is a beautiful campus, and the lighting makes it even better! I typically only book one grad session per day, around 2 hours before sunset, to make sure we have beautiful lighting throughout our shoot.

Taking Photos on your College Campus

Many grads also use our session as time to reflect and reminisce on their time at school. I love walking around campus and hearing stories about each location where we shoot. For Ryan, we spent a lot of time around the Science and Math building, where she spent the majority of her time as a Public Health major!

Including Family & Friends in your Grad Photos

Ryan brought two friends with her to her session, which I always encourage! Friends and family help make the session run faster and more smoothly, and can also help to make you feel more comfortable and have more fun!

Her beautiful momma also joined us toward the end of the session, and I made sure to get plenty of sweet photos of the two of them. Once we get all the shots you know you want, I love to invite friends and family to get some photos with the grad for the last 5-10 minutes of the session.
