Megan's Senior Session
This shoot commemorating Megan’s senior year was so much fun! She was graduating from Cardinal Gibbons in Raleigh, but we did her senior session around Chapel Hill since that’s where she grew up and has lots of memories.
Summer Photos at the Coker Arboretum
We started our shoot at the arboretum, where we got lots of fun pictures among the flowers and greenery! It’s already too hot for a lot of the flowers at this time of year, but it was still beautiful.
Bringing family to your senior session
I always encourage clients to bring anyone who wants to come to their shoot, and we always make time for a few pictures with them as well! Megan brought her sister to the whole shoot, and we also met up with their dad for a few quick pictures.
Pictures at the Carolina Inn
Megan’s mom used to work at the Carolina Inn, so she and her sisters grew up spending lots of time there! It was very fitting for us to grab some photos in and around the building. She especially wanted some in the iconic checkered hallway at the front!
Chapel Hill’s Historic Scenery
Chapel Hill is such a beautiful city! We stopped to grab photos at several spots that were perfect backdrops! I love all the stone and brick, plus there’s tons of greenery and beautiful trees.
UNC Chapel Hill Senior Photos
UNC’s campus has so many great spots for photos! I would love to do graduation photos here as well for a UNC senior! We didn’t have to walk far to find a lot of beautiful areas.
UNC Asheville Incoming Freshman Photos
Megan is headed to UNC Asheville next year to play D1 volleyball! I always love to get some photos in seniors’ college T-shirts. They’re a great addition to your graduation announcements to celebrate the next chapter you’re embarking on!
Golden Hour Senior Portraits
My favorite time for any photoshoot is always golden hour! It was a cloudy day, which I definitely don’t mind for photos, but we ended this session around 8:00 which was perfect to get those shots before the sun went down.
Unique Senior Picture Locations
We ended the session just walking around on Rosemary St. and found some amazing spots for photos. Some of my favorites from this whole session were outside this little restaurant that had a gorgeous garden and string lights. I love finding new spots for photos like this!
